These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lens (“the Service”), operated by Aerele Technologies Pvt Ltd (“Aerele”, “we”, “our”), a Frappe and ERPNext engineering team based in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, India. By creating an account or running a scan, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Lens performs static code analysis and version-compatibility checks on Frappe/ERPNext custom applications that you submit via a GitHub repository URL or zip upload. Each scan produces a report you can download and share. We do not provide hosting, deployment, or application management.
2. Your account
You can sign up using GitHub OAuth or an email and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service.
3. Acceptable use
- Only submit repositories you own or are authorised to analyse. You are solely responsible for obtaining any third-party consents required.
- Do not upload content that infringes another party's rights.
- Do not attempt to probe, scan, or disrupt the Service, reverse-engineer our analysis logic, or submit content designed to exploit or overload our systems.
- Do not resell, sub-license, or repackage the Service without written consent.
4. Billing and refunds
The Service runs on a per-scan pricing model, sized by lines of code and file count. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices and tiers are shown on the pricing page and may change from time to time.
Charges are non-transferable. If a scan fails due to a defect on our side, we will either re-run it at no charge or refund the payment. Disputed charges should be reported within 14 days of the invoice date.
5. Your content and our reports
You retain all rights to the source code and data you submit. You grant us a limited licence to access, clone, analyse, and derive reports from your content solely to provide the Service.
Reports we generate are licensed to you for use within your organisation. You may share them with your clients, auditors, and employees. Aerele retains ownership of the Service itself, including our rule sets, pipelines, and report templates.
6. Third-party services
The Service integrates with GitHub (for repository access and OAuth), Razorpay (for payments), and transactional email providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct.
7. Availability and disclaimers
We aim for high availability, but the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that scans will detect every issue in your code, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that reports will be error-free. You remain responsible for verifying findings and applying fixes in your own environment.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aerele shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ₹5,000.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse. On termination, outstanding obligations (including payment) survive.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu.
